THE JOURNEY

Ancient temples, bustling streets, and the enduring rhythm of the Nile

This is a journey through thousands of years of civilisation and cosmology: a living history shaped by desert, water, myth, and sky.

We travel across a fifteen-day lunar cycle, from new moon to full, held within the ancient Osirian story of dismemberment and resurrection.

From the pyramids of Giza and the temples of Luxor to the timeless beauty of the Nile and the Nubian south, each place has been carefully chosen to deepen your experience of the land, its people, and its enduring stories.

We stay in characterful family-run hotels and spend three nights aboard a traditional dahabiya, experiencing the warmth and rhythm of life along the river.

Explore the destinations below, where history, myth, and daily life continue to meet.

Closing Invitation

Our journeys are missions — held with as much space for play and pleasure as for curiosity and discovery.

We relish the sensuous: Egyptian hospitality and feasting, friendships formed along the way.

Local oils and the alchemy of anointing.
Traditional crafts and markets.
Swims in the Nile on carefully chosen shores.

Music, dancing — and moments exploring how sound moves through ancient stone.

Not simply a journey through Egypt — but a passage through one of the world’s oldest story-fields,
and an invitation to meet what awakens within you.

The Journey

This is a passage through thousands of years of civilisation and cosmology —
a living history shaped by desert, water, myth, and sky.

We travel across a fifteen-day lunar cycle,
from new moon to full —
held within the ancient Osirian story of dismemberment and resurrection.

Our path unfolds through Upper Egypt:
Luxor, Abydos, Dendera.

From Esna, we board our boat and sail the Nile —
carried by wind and current —
to Edfu, Kom Ombo, and the sandstone quarries where temples were born.
Onward to Philae.

In Aswan, we rest into the warmth of Nubian hospitality —
the heart and soul of the south.

We then fly to Cairo
for the final days at Giza and Saqqara.

Here, the journey gathers.
Elements of the passage — through land, lore, and sky — begin to re-member.

At the Spring Equinox, we enter the Sphinx enclosure at dawn —
to witness the rising light aligned with its ancient gaze.

That evening, we gather within the Great Pyramid
for private ceremony.

A closing.
And an integration.
